May 2, 2008
If you’d happen to be in Milwaukee, WI until 4 May 2008, or visit the Scottish National Galleries in Edinburgh, UK during the summer, you can watch a great exhibition of modern Central European photography from 1918-1945. This was the time when the Habsburg Empire gave way to the modern countries of today. In this turbulent period Central European art and literature was on its historic height. (The exhibition was first organized by the National Gallery of Art in Washington).
